I wanted to bring this off topic, so here it is.
Should an American support American innovation by not buying the Chinese brands?
Is it still American if Chinese made?
Should you look at the tax optimisation of the company you buy from?
I do believe in the free market (political statement) and I do not believe in protectionism (political statement against intelectual property rights), so you should buy the best product at the most correct price. Many do not seem to agree though. Look up Milton Freeman or William MacAskill to understand my position better (they have the same conclusion from other angles).
