Ugh. I think they come over by boat. When I needed parts for my SB-910 repair, it took a couple of weeks for the parts to arrive. Sorry to hear you're having a problem. What's up with your D610 and 24-70mm lens?

While not explicitly stated (understandably) when I called support, it was clear that is why it took Nikon two months to repair my D500.

It always hurts to pay the insurance premiums. It is always bad news to have a situation where you have to get something repaired after an accident. But........................
it is always nice to have the insurance you have been paying premiums to, to pay for the repairs. Negative, negative, POSITIVE. Sounds like it may take a bit of time to get to the positive, but it will come. :encouragement:

Ouch! Glad you have insurance. Many folks don't & it would be an even sadder story. Hope you get your gear back quickly.

Maybe for a nominal fee, the repair guy will accidentally drop it so that you insurance can pay to replace.

That sucks though. Hope they get it corrected soon!
