    Broken lens at Sharks-Pens game

Anyone else watching the Stanley Cup Finals? Just saw a photographer lose a lens on to the ice. I think a puck hit it through the little camera port they use.

    Oops!

Happened to my brother when he was shooting a Rangers game. Not the lens, just the hood. National TV game that got stopped for "two pucks on the ice ... oh, wait..."

He'll tell you that even when you know how fast those guys are coming, you can't always watch 'em from every direction.

I got taken down by a linebacker while shooting a football game for the UNC yearbook. Never even saw it coming. Fortunately I was using the school's gear at the time and not my own!
