At my parents house in Millville, NJ. The tree is about 60'. Poked a hole in the roof, but luckily didn't go through thanks to the chimney!

Hey jdeg: How'd you make out? I saw some flooding in Conshy on the news. A few branches down near me but nothing major.

Pretty good - electric only went out once for about an hour, and that was at about 5pm sat before things really started to suck.

Picture from a co-worker of the Brandywine River in PA. Another co-worker was just informed that her power is expected to be back on at 11pm - Wednesday!

you know, People in florida are used to these storms, but for me I was almost happy when it turned north. It would have been my first hurricane and I was not happy camper. About the worst we got was some wild waves and a little wind. here is a pic from the worst we got.

That was in Melbourne Florida. The storm passed about 204 miles from us and still made mad wave. of course at that time it was approaching a cat 4 hurricane. I had to move twice because the water was getting closer...

Nice shot, Johnathan. You must have cropped out the east coast surfer dudes looking for some gnarley waves.

Former NC surfer dude wannabe,

hahaha nah the surfers started running for cover shortly after this shot. I had walked off the other side of them, half expecting a huge wave to take the kids out in the riptide. Then the rain struck and I had to run for cover myself. It went from no rain to down pour in seconds, so I was scrambling to get my camera put away.
