I've been staying inside and not going anywhere, as my sweet wife insisted!:) Too slick outside to risk it anyway, unless you are prepared for the ice!lol :D

Thank you, and I also hope everybody stays safe too!:D

Really bad here. The snow is actually sticking to the cover of my truck bed.

That is probably as bad as it will get.

Wow Don have you ever had it that bad before :D

About 25 years ago when we lived in Montgomery we had 6 inches of snow that stayed on the ground for 4 days. That is the most snow I have ever seen in my life. I did a search a while back and we have averaged .4 inches of snow per year over the last 50 years. That is a total of 20 inches total over all that time. And remember that 6 inches of it was at one time.

Wow Don, that's a lot of snow. Don't hurt your back with that shovel.

It's hard to tell how much we've got. it's a real dry snow, and lots of wind makes it drift. Some areas are 6" deep and others are drifting to 2 feet deep. (Still snowing right now.) Two large farm tractors plowed the road earlier and one came back a few minutes ago with his blade up and when he hit the brakes he skidded all the way down the hill. I guess there's ICE under that snow. Since, for health reasons, I can't shovel, I'll patiently wait for one of the local entrepreneurs to come by with his pickup and blade and charge me $100 to clean my driveway.

I hope all of my Nikonites buddies stay safe and warm during the storm.

Ventured out only to take the Dog out Canes, and Snow do not get along all that well. Looks like we are pretty much done for a few days anyway, but who knows.

A good neighbor scraped the gravel drive so we can get to church tomorrow so all is good!

@Alan, we did that last February... I do not envy you... That was why I bought a Jeep this last spring. My wife and I were stuck for over a week twice. You be careful when it comes time to clear that out.
