There is a rumor we may get 2 hours of sunshine tomorrow ::what::

Just watching the weather report, and here in Manchester we just might get through the full day on Monday without any rain at all, BUT to make up for the nice Monday, its going to rain non stop Tuesday and Wednesday :(

I'm saying that any lens that's wide open at f/5.6 benefits from a sunny day. And, like any lens/body, it focuses by seeing contrast. Here's a shot taken on a rainy day. Everything is grey and it looks crappy with lousy detail. Part of it is undoubtedly my fault, but I'm sure that if the sun had been shining, it would have been a much better pic.

I thought you ordered a 200-500mm lens. That would get me excited. Sunshine is just boring to me.
You don't understand, in the UK sunshine comes at a premium. I spent 2 years stationed there when I was in the military.
If you walked out and said "Oh it looks to be a nice day" you can then guarantee it will rain in the next 2 hours. So you go out and curse the Sunshine and say " I hate days like this, bright, warm " and it will stay that way all day.
