That big gator appeared to be smiling when I last saw him sooooo

It would have to be a big gator. I got separated from y'all, but did run into a few on the trail around noon. I didn't leave the reserve until the very last minute. The Barred Owls were out and active near the parking lot, and a lot of folks were photographing them.

Ran into a paid photo tour group that is visiting several sites around Florida the week. Lots of Canon shooters, with a few Nikon folks. I invited the Nikon folks to look us up and join us at Nikonites.com. I hope that is ok. I guess I should have tole the Canon people to buy Nikon gear and do the same.


I will not be at the reserve on Wednesday, either. I'm having lunch with a pretty co-ed in Gainesville, my youngest daughter. I do plan to visit the new park attached to Payne's Prairie in Gainesville on Sunday morning. It's about time for me to head to Delray Beach for a Wako visit. I'll let you know when I am going to visit, Marilynne.

I enjoyed seeing some of you again, and to meet the rest of you today. I think the next time i'll get a hotel room so that I can join in on more of the social events at the get-together.

With the weather forecast I won't be going today can't risk another camera damaged by rain
