Waiting for the post to arrive

Well I am sat here waiting for the post to arrive, yesterday I order a new camera :)

A Nikon D7100 :)

I have been thinking about it for a few weeks now, and ordered it yesterday. I will carry on using the D3200 while I work out how to use the D7100, and I can get a free battery grip with it (through Nikon)

Every time I here a car/van go past, thinking, its here now, and knowing my luck it will be the last delivery of the day.

A watched kettle never boils.... go do something "difficult" then you can guarantee the postman will turn up at the most awkward time :)

Have fun with the new toy! :)

Oooooooo....a new camera!! :D Such fun you will have :D

I hope your software is up to date. It's such a disappointment when you can't open the files :(

You will be able to read that manual from cover to cover while that battery charges, you will go through a few teapots as well ;).

I am glad it finally arrived, seemed to take forever sitting here, must have been a lot longer from your seat :p.

The wait will be worth it though, you will love this camera.

Having setup the camera this afternoon, must say I'm impressed, so many settings to play with and adjust, I do like the look of the silhouette effect on the settings.

On my D3200 the 50mm D lens was only manual focus, But now on the D7100, is auto focus, and so quick to focus ;)

I was going to go out this afternoon and try and get the sun setting, or a good red sky, but the clouds put a stop to that.
So in the morning will go for a nice walk around the local park with the 50mm and the 70-300mm lenses.

Thanks for all the replies :)
