Note to Mods, if you see fit to delete this thread, then I understand, but I need to vent this out.
I was a member of [a site] for a while. I received a one week ban for posting a political rant in the Anything Else section. They have a 'No Politics' rule, or so they say. My rant was basically a slam of the Liberals (Canadian Politics). I accepted my ban without question, because I broke the rules. No problem.
A week or two later, someone posts a picture of the PM holding a camera wrong, and there was a few comments about his abililty to govern the country. I PM'ed the mod that banned me, and questioned why he and other mods where allowing and even posting in this thread. He told me that 'I was just trying to stir the pot'. Fine whatever.
A week ago there was a federal election in Canada. The show that was showing all the election results was called 'Canada Votes'. I toke a picture of my TV showing this show, and posted it to a contest on the forum called '31 days of May', where May 1st was the letter A and the 2nd was the letter B etc. So on the 3rd I post this picture with only the caption as the title of my photo 'Canada Votes'. No policital rant, rave or slam. I got banned again for 1 week. So, when my banning was over, I went and erased every single post I made there. That took 4 hours. Then posted something akin to this post here, and told them they could 'take their forum and go sit and a corner'.
They removed that post and I have been banned for life. Whatever.
All I ask is that if the mods allow this thread to stay open that everyone please keep it clean. No slander, slamming or flaming. I just needed to get this off my chest. Thank you.
