Making cranberry walnut relish, and Parker house rolls to bring along.

Turkey w/stuffing, Brussel sprouts w/bacon, sweet taters and homemade butternut squash pie. Made the pie today. Photo is still in the camera.

Enjoy!!

We actually had our Thanksgiving meal today. Was a different experience for my family this year. WE have always had Thanksgiving at my Mom's house with my sister and her two kids and their kids and my wife and two kids. Mom passed away this January right after Christmas. So my sister went to Denver and their families had Thanksgiving there. So this year it was just my wife and two kids here. We did have turkey and dressing that I made using my mom's recipe and it did taste great.

Just finished up a lemon meringue and apple pie to bring to my sisters. Usually have it here but decided to have it at hers this year. We have the usual thing. Turkey, sweet and regular potatoes, corn, stuffing, crandberry sauce etc...

Well let's see....
The juiciest, tastiest, turkey that's know to man (thanks to a recipe from the food network) that involves a brine
Mashed potatoes
Ginger Carrots
Deviled Eggs
Salad
Pumpkin Pie
Marsh mellow Sweet Potatoes
Salad
Spicy Pumpkin Hummus with Pita bread
Smoked Venison Backstrap on crackers with cheese and roasted red peppers
Pretzels with home made sweet/hot dipping mustard......

I'm sure there's more. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I see allot of images included with replies. But I guess I'm lazy. For me to get up, snap a shot, import it and include it in a post just seams like work to me. Not all the time, but right now.... yes. Sorry. I'll bring the camera tomorrow and get a shot of the table all set up. Not promising seeing we serve buffet style most of the time. But being my sister is hosting it this year, it may be diff.
