A 24MP D710 would be nice. On the DX side a 24 MP D400 with low light capabilites. I would sooo stop thinking about the D7100.

Hmm... not enough in the rumor to push my timeframe for full frame. I don't use the articulating LCD on the D5300 to hesitate in the D7100, so that wouldn't drive me up price from the D610 to this new body. No comments on the AF system or OLPF, which are probably my biggest areas of interest for something that would sway me away from the D610.

I wouldn't want the flip-out screen, and being light isn't a pleaser to me. But a D700 with updated sensor and other tech would really interest me a lot for down the road! But I'm not holding my breath! Lol :D

I'm not so sure the rumor is even close to being accurate. I mean, look at it this way: If you were Nikon, would you release a full frame right after you released a 810? It would be competing on so many levels. It just doesn't make sense to me.

The more the merrier. It's like going to the drive thru at McDonalds and they come up with all sorts of selections and not just big mac.

This might be the next ideal camera like the D3 & D700; D4 & D710? Add the next generation processor and body of the D810 and AF clusters, then we have a winner.

Of course the DX group will feel less loved but people will move on.
