I don't know why but I am a bit jealous. Every time I take photos, upload to my com do some pp and upload to the forum I think looks great.

Then, I look to your photos guys and I think WOW, they're a so beautiful, great composition, great color, etc.. I love looking your photos since they inspire me, give me ideas and make me feel that I am at the scene as well.

I am not that serious as it may looks like I am. I am just wondering why this so is.

Now, I have to calm down and think my about my future shoots what can I do better and look to my old photos what is not so good.

I promise, I will figure it out

Thanks to all of you for sharing your photos and tips. That makes a forum alive and pretty cool.

Michael, I look at your photos, as well as many others on this forum and feel the same.
How many likes and great comments do you get when you post your photographs? (rhetorical question) We are all our own worst critic. I have gained so much knowledge and inspiration from this forum and hope I take that with me every time I press the shutter button.
Keep up the good work Michael, I know I enjoy seeing your view of the world.

You are correct, your photos absolutely do look great.

There is an old saying here, "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". Meaning, other people's circumstances might seem better, but in reality, are not, because we have a lot going for ourself too.

Let me tell you, your work on the other side does look great. :) Thank you.

Buck up Michael. many of your photos are very good and all of them bring exotic locales or subjects that many of us would not otherwise get to see without your posts. You share your world with us and we are all richer for the experience. Keep posting buddy.

What I like is seeing another culture. Most of us on here have a western surrounding be it in Europe or the U.S. Seeing your corner of the world is always interesting to look through.

That's a good thing, Michael. It shows that you recognize that there's more to learn and room to grow. I'm thankful for the folks here who stretch me, even as they tell me that I'm stretching their photography. You're shots are great, and continually improve. And that's the way it's supposed to be.

Don't concern yourself with where your photography is relation to someone else's photography. Concern yourself with where *your* photography is today, in comparison to where it was yesterday. Don't just shoot... Think, compose, shoot and grow. Read and learn everything you can about composition and then go out and APPLY what you've learned.

Michael, your photos are great. I suspect most of us are our own harshest critics.

As we used to say in my youth, "keep on keeping' on." Take more photos, learn from every shoot you do, learn from others but DON"T TRY TO BE SOMEONE ELSE! Your pictures are your own personal expression.

I look forward to seeing your pictures each time you post something new. Keep on keeping on!
