I feel ya. We've had rain here since Sunday, but we were starting to go into drought conditions, so it was needed.

Still hampers the photo walks, though...

Pshaw...you guys are amateurs. Let me show you how a professional groaner does it:

I got my new D800 + other gear last week and haven't really been able to use any of it. Threw my back out, and have very little use of my left arm because a nerve is pinched. Been to the chiropractor about 5 times, and have this goofy shock therapy electrode patch on my back. I can't decide if the patch is working or not...it's one of those hurts so good things.

On the bright side, I've been able to read a few books, watched OneLight 2.0, and worked on updating my business cards.

Mike - we're about to start the great British Summer. Surely you should know that for our annual 8 days of summer sunshine, we need 80 days of rain first!!!

My current moan - living out of suitcases in hotels with "high speed internet access".... because 1/2 meg download and 250k upload has always been FAST!!!

My ML-L3 remote is too damn small and I've been searching for it forever! I've checked my pockets over and over but can't find it. It's so light and small it fits in pockets so easily but I can't find the pocket it is currently residing in. That's my moan for the day LOL

OK I have a little moan for ya! I have this wonderful D800E that I've dream of having, but I can only take 14 shots at a time before post processing or my computer may freeze up! Any more that 7-8 shots and my computer slows down to a crawl! Hours to post process the shots, due in large part to waiting for each adjustment to show and also finishing it up by saving it as a jpeg! Groaning now! ;)

But would I give it up or trade it for another camera? Answer Hell no! Lol :D

Pah, amateur moaners!
I moved into my new camera bag, found a gap in the rain, popped the wife + camera bag in the car, then drove 1 hour to the nearest zoo and paid to get in - Only to realise my camera battery was still plugged into the charger at home! I walked around with my camera bag all day and not a single photo! On the upside, we tested my wife's new Bino's and they worked great.

Yep pi**ing down in Lincolnshire, Gainsborough, lucky I am stuck at work lol
Same here in Nottingham, The puddles in the car parks are like ponds... and driving to work this morning I was surprised to find a family of ducks crossing the road at the traffic lights to walk back to their pond :) (I really WISH I had my camera with me LOL)

Try to avoid that myself by having two batteries.

I tend to take my camera with me in the car even when I am not intending to use it, you never know what you may stumble across, ducks crossing the road or an escaped elephant rampaging down the M1 lol
