What he doesn't state is how the D800 was when it warmed up and dried out. I assume all was well, but it would be a more convincing photo if he stated it explicitly.

I think my wallet cried a little when I looked at that photo.
Nikon D800.....Sony A7RII.....Nikon D3300 (IR dedicated 590nm).....Sony A6000 APS-C........NEX 5T (IR dedicated 720nm) (and too many lenses)

He says on his FB page that it worked fine, a few buttons froze and were hard to use but the real show stopper was the snow on the lens.
