    What he doesn't state is how the D800 was when it warmed up and dried out. I assume all was well, but it would be a more convincing photo if he stated it explicitly.

    I think my wallet cried a little when I looked at that photo.

    Ahhaa. A friend of mine is getting a D800 soon, I sent him the URL for the frozen camera. Thanks for posting.

    He says on his FB page that it worked fine, a few buttons froze and were hard to use but the real show stopper was the snow on the lens.
