The photos are so beautiful, in some of them you could almost be right in the moment they were so soft and emotional. I love the one of the darling boy holding the cute bunny close to his face. Thank you for sharing that.

If I were a judge and presented with this portfolio, it would be really difficult to pick a "best in show" . . . the one that pulls my heartstrings is the little boy standing in the water . . . the way he's holding his hand, the light shining through his clothes, the light in the water . . . it's like a magical place, and I can feel his amazement at looking at the scene.

Absolutely right on the money for that shot, it would be so hard to pick just one. This post here is the reason I fell in love with photography, I love to try and step in and be apart of the photograph, all of these I could just feel the moment and there were a couple I wanted to close my eyes and just pretend I was there hearing the giggles. Lovely photos and that little boys are so dang cute. Being a cat person I really love the lighting detail of the little boy his shovel and the cat.

It further proves that you do not need good weather to take great pictures.

I am interested on the type of lens that she uses.

Yeah, me, too, Glenn. And actually, the best or most dramatic photos are most often in bad weather . . . real drawback in New Mexico since we have 360 days of sunshine, no fog, not much snow . . . yes, the violins are playing.

That Russian mother is a wonderful artist. She knows her kids and her camera and the light *so* well. Thanks for sharing!
