New years resolution!

Well with the New Year approaching I thought I would like to create this thread, all though I am going to hate it so keep it bookmarked.

My new years resolution is to Not crop any photos and to get them as good a crop in camera as I would have liked...

This is going to suck ;-)

Like all resolutions, let's see how long this one will last. Now you'll have to be honest with us and let us know when you can't stand it anymore and start cropping again. With your D800E's resolution, you'll always have a little wiggle room for cropping without us knowing about it... :)

But I do applaud your resolution idea.

Haha yes I will be 100% honest... It's not going to be easy. Maybe I bring out the D80 for a year :p

1. Train for another 24 hour mountain bike race - June 14, 2014, 24 Hours in the Enchanted Forest.

2. Crash less

3. Add new scars and injuries to the ones collected from racing the 24 hours of Moab if I succeed at number one and don't succeed at number two.

I'll take #2 as well and add: no broken arm and surgery next year.
I want to do the Passport du Soleil in June and geberally ride more DH.
That's all on the sports side of life.

My D3200 takes pictures that are 6016×4000 pixels. I think that should be plenty of resolution for this coming year. Perhaps in a few years, the technology will improve such that there will be cameras available with significantly better resolution than that, and perhaps some future year will see me in a position to be able to afford such a camera, but for this coming year, 24 megapixels will do.

I'm agoraphobic..........So I will "try" to go outside more, I'll get a fishing license and go fishing when I can, and I'll take more photos to post here. I'll do my best.....

I'm Bah Humbug about resolutions because no one ever follows through with them. However, how about just continuing to play, learn, have fun, enjoy family and friends while capturing those moments even better next year. That I think I can stick to. Cheers :)

My Nikonites New Years Resolution is to hit it hard on the new 365. It will be my first attempt, and I am going to go all out.

My Life Resolution.....is to just suck less. And enjoy more.

Try Fly Fishing! I have a buddy that does not like the outdoors. (She doesn't like big open spaces.) So we tried traditional fishing. But she didn't like using baits, and didn't like the bass boat.

But with Fly Fishing she was forced to focus on her rhythm and breathing. It gave her something else to focus on instead of the openness. Now in the warmer months she hits the water with us almost every weekend! Heck...she now has almost developed a better double haul than I have!!
