Who is Hasselblad trying to fool??

If you have not heard about it yet, Hasselblad has started to sell the Lunar. I have been following this camera for a few months now and i must say that the whole concept is quite comical.
Essentially, the Lunar is not a Hasselblad camera. It is a Sony Nex 7 with a bunch of idiotic, useless crap attached to it. I can only guess that they are targeting the crowd who have more money than sense and just want to show-off.
Just think of this for a moment: the Sony Nex 7 with the 18-55 lens is about 1300 dollars. The same camera and lens with Hasselblads "refinements" (attached crap) is 7000 dollars!!!!
You seriously have to know nothing about cameras and have money to wipe your behind with, to go out and buy this camera. I guess those are the folks that Hasselblad is trying to fool.

When you get anything with Victor's name on it, you are paying a premium just for the name. It has always been that way.

But there has been one good side to the digital "revolution". I can now afford to buy Hasselblad lenses for my 500CM. I have 5 though I doubt I will ever get (or need) any more. The 35mm/FX equivalent focal length is in parens; 40mm f/4 Distagon CF T* (24mm), 60mm f/3.5 Distagon CF T* (35mm), 80mm f/2.8 Planar C T* (50mm), 150 f/4 Sonnar C T* (90mm), and 250 f/5.6 Sonnar T* (150mm). A 500mm f/8 APO Sonnar C T* (300mm) would be nice, but at about $3000 I can live without it.
