I use a system like that and have 4 cameras located all over the outside of my house. It also records on motion so if anything goes on that is out of the ordinary I have it recorded. I can also log in on my iPhone and see what is going on. I do that while I am away so i can see my pups playing in the yard.
I don't have little ones anymore but I could see how this would be great even if you have a babysitter looking after that baby.

What software do you use to record, Don?
Mine was an entire system "Zmodo" The cameras and recorder were bought as a system. It is set up through my router so it is visible via app. Great for seeing how things are going when you are traveling.
I have a funny baby monitor story. When my wife and Iwere still living in Jacksonville, FL we had a baby monitor in our bedroom for our youngest. Our next door neighbors had a baby right around the same time as we did. Well their baby monitor was on apparently on the very same frequency as ours. One night they got rather amorous and it was broadcast over the airwaves right into our house. My wife and I were front row center to so red hot lovin'! It was hilarious. I told my next door neighbor the next morning he might want to change the frequency on their baby monitor. I never knew his wife was a "moaner"!
hahaha, funny Scott - I think that happens on an episode of Raising Hope. They're all sitting around the monitor eating popcorn.
All I know is I had never seen a human turn that shade and intensity of red before!
