No fooling. I like the comment, "Whether Argus is deployed or not is classified." It most likely has been deployed. So much for privacy.

Think about how long it would take to render a single image.... I think my MacBook Pro would scream for help.

Well, I already have a UAV now to buy enough IPhones to cannibalize for the image chips.

I think I read that Photo Shop has a link to update your distortion correction list with this camera.

George Orwell was right, his dates were just a little off. Maybe we should get ballcaps which say EFF YOU FEDS on the top so they know we know they are watching us.

I was thinking how big of a pixel camera could be made now... I just got a water proof coolpix at 16 Meg sensor, so,, the sensor is tiny, in that, it is essentially 1/20th the area of a FX sensor (43 sq mm vs 864 sq mm), so,, let's say for chuckles that Nikon made a sensor with the same size transistor as the small coolpix,, then it would be essentiall


20x16 Meg or 320 MegPixel FX sensor, and maybe they could have a mode for combining transistor for low light,, lower pixel but more sensitive?

then think about the current natural print size of the D800 (around 20x30),, could make billboard prints at the 320 pixel range with no lose of detail.

course way overkill... I don't have the wall space now for my prints.

I am waiting for the one TERRAPIXEL camera!

Don't worry. I'm sure that, soon enough, someone will come out with a 2.4 giga-pixel camera that everybody will just have to have. Probably in a full-frame format, as well!!
