Thanks mate,i think we had something called sun for a few days, pleased to say its gone now.

I think the biggest thing i had to get used to for action shots was having faith in the camera, focus lock is lightning fast, there is a very slight delay in the viewfinder but boy is it slight when you get the camera set up correctly,i was panning birds in flight and taking the shots when the image looked sharp,as you would, that can be too late by a fraction of a second,i now find frame the bird and start taking, the camera will lock on just as good as most mid range DSLRs and better than consumer models.
They are not D500 or D750s but you dont pay the price of those.

The picture below i cant attribute to any one as it was sent to me with no details,it shows the difference in the extreme.

It will not enlarge but its the canon 200-400 against my 100-400

Wow... that is significant... It has to way 2/3 less then the Canon. I have not looked at any yet, but this gives me pause. How does the 12-35 do on wide angle landscapes?

All i can tell is you is the 12-35 f2.8 is highly rated its FOV is FX 24-70 f2,8,Landscapes i have not got into i got the lens as it was a stupid cheap deal with the body from my LCS and i have it for future use:D,i was standing next to a guy at the lake yesterday and he had a D7200 with 150-600 on and i had forgotten how big they are.

The other thing to put in print is mirrorless is not as such lighter and smaller for things like wildlife, your camera body maybe but with crop and full frame sensors the lenses need to be nearly as big and heavy as DSLR lenses to cover the sensor. To reduce size and weight significantly you need to reduce sensor size, thats why i chose m4/3,if i was into landscapes ect i would look at the Sony full frame.
The other thing is unless like me you need to reduce the weight DSLRs still have the advantage if for nothing else lens choices,Sigma Tamron making a full range of lenses,my 100-400 was nearly £1400,the bodies are cheapish but they have you by the short and curlys with long lenses.
