Seriously considering a Fuji for a second body..Im really impressed about what Fuji is doing. They are coming out with updates that continue to improve their cameras. I have also considered a D7200 once they do a rebate or sale eventually..Decisions, Decisions..Any one own the Fuji XT1 with 56mm 1.2 combo?

Hi
I have a Fuji X-T1, but not the 56mm f/1.2 (yet). And I love it :heart-borken:.
I also have a D800 and Df. But most of the time I pickup the Fuji. The first advantage is the weight, it's more pleasant to carry around, without loosing image quality.
I still use the D800 for high resolution images and highspeed flash sync. Other than that, Fuji!
Be careful if you try the Fuji, you might like it.
Photography is an expensive hobby with one set of gear, with two :sorrow::sorrow:
It probably don't help much, but do not said that you have not been warned :)

Not an XT-1 shooter, but was given an X-Pro1 body by my sister. I bought a used 35 f1.4 & 16-50 zoom for it. While the camera is slow to focus & a bit clunky to use it produces great files. Now I'm looking hard at an XT-1 or XT-10. :)

I've been able to play with some mirrorless cameras of late and if I was in the market for one, for serious, the Fuji XT-1 would be at the top of my list.

The Body That Could Topple the Fuji: the Olympus OM-D E-M1.

Given the choice, I'm not sure which side of the fence I'd fall on...

When I was deciding what to get, when I chose my D750, it was between it and the XT1. I was just so impressed with the tech that they packed in to that little mirrorless body. Mirrorless has come SUCH a long ways, that little camera takes some outstanding pictures. I'd still like to get something like that one day.

Thanks for your thoughts. I really like the X trans sensor & the fact it is APSC. Micro 4/3 has a nice selection of lenses available, but I feel Fuji will flesh out their lens line as time goes by. If I can swing it I'll get the XT-1 over the XT-10.

I have a couple free days and had an XT-1 in my BorrowLenses cart to rent for the week-end but didn't pull the trigger - this time.

That is exactly the problem I have with mirrorless. It is just little. Little just doesn't inspire me at all.

Yep back in Feb they were $100 off brand new ones.$1199 instead of the current price of $1299.. Honestly I have no luck finding a used one for cheap..
