Elton John 6/11/2014

Long story but I couldn't get the Nikon in. Here is a couple pics my wife took with her Olympus point and shoot. Excellent concert. This is the first show of the tour and his voice was in great shape. He went nearly non stop for 2.5 hours. The best part was he was obviously appreciative of the sold out crowd. The songs weren't clinical covers of the songs but rather a banging new experience.

Nice stuff for a P&S

My wife and I saw him in Atlanta back in March. Nigel Olsson and Davey Johnstone were with him, I am sure Dee Murray was there in spirit. It was a great show. I wish I could have smuggled in a camera but security was pretty tight. It is hard to be inconspicuous with a 600m f/4 Nikkor!
