Just wondering if any of you have objections if I use this forum to post pictures taken with my little Fuji X10. I know it's not a Nikon, but I thought maybe it would be OK. Being a "Super Mod" lol, I wouldn't want to be receiving infractions given by my peers. :)
As an example, our cat looking at the snow, wondering who was going to shovel it.

I don't see a problem with it, Marcel. I'm curious why you chose this particular model and also how well it works (LCD) when you're outside in bright light. I know my cell phone is nearly impossible to see when it's bright outside and so I've always wondered how these mirrorless cameras handle that problem.

@Dave: Fuji x10 is much like Canon's G series, equipped with a (modest) optical rangefinder, not just a LCD.
@Marcel: just do it, Mr. Mod, sometimes I post the pics taken with my PEN (I have clearly stated within my "signature" that it is my secondary camera - the place number 1 is shared between D7000 and D5100:rolleyes:).

That's the thing Dave, this one has a range finder optical viewer. It's not precise as far as cropping goes, but it let's you see what your subject is doing when you press the shutter. I choose this model because I got it cheap on the local adds. Less than half the price of a new one with an extra battery is fine with me. It fits in my jacket pocket :).

Okay with me, as long as it isn't a Canon. :) Just kidding. I shoot with Olympus 4/3 and Olympus micro 4/3 cameras as well.

I don't see the problem with it. It really shouldn't matter that your P&S is not a Nikon. Some people even post photos taken with their cell phone and I have never read anyone complaining.

I do have a problem with this....

As my issue is that it will twist my already rubbery arm and make me buy a mirrorless system for the odd occasion :)
But in all seriousness I do not see this as an issue. We could even maybe have a section to compare shots of non nikon mirrorless to nikon brands.

Nice shot by the way.
