Hi,

Instead of introducing myself, i went ahead with creating threads, making posts, upload pics etc.

I am known by the name Kamesh. I live in New Delhi, India. Aged 35 years.Happily married with two kids. I work for the Government (legal sphere). Played the Under-22 Cricket in India, and now Correspondence Chess with the assistance of Computer Chess Engines. I have this dream of riding my BULL (Royal Enfield). Desperately waiting for the day when my wife gives me a clear nod so that I can conquer the highest motorable road in the World - Khardungla (18000 ft. above sea level). Majority of my group members already made it.

And Now, I got this new toy, the D7000.

Thanks all :)

Howdy Kamesh! I've heard so much about you, it's great to finally be meeting you.

Here in the US, we use crickets for bait, but sometimes the little ones will play with a grasshopper or two.

Also here in the US, OUR dangerous road is ANY road in New Jersey or California.

Here we like a Big Block engine, preferably Chevy.

And just so that you know...

I am pulling your leg! :) :welcoming:

Hi Kamesh! Nice to meet you! I too am new. I think we arrive at this destination looking for answers, and then we begin to review and read through the forums and see the instruction/guidelines. I guess it's really true everyone reads the instructions last LOL:welcoming: I too failed to INTRODUCE myself in the proper manner. So here goes...
My name is Tami Jo but I am often called "TJ". I live in the southwestern part of the United States. I am not going to share my age because a woman never tells! I have been married for several decades and I work in social services for children. I love the great outdoors, nature, photography. I have a fairly large extended family and I have two amazingly wonderful Border Collies that add an extra splash of joy to my life.

Howdy TJ! I'm glad that us nut balls haven't scared you off! I am sorry that I missed welcoming you to Nikonites. That is MY misfortune.

I don't know how you have managed to be here and not get friended, but you have one now if you want. Anything I can do to help, just let me know. :)

Thanks Pete! I have really enjoyed the forums here thus far. A great group of people with a passion for photography! Which has been one of mine for sometime. However with this big step up to the Nikon D7000 I just know I am going to have a multitude of questions. You all have been terrific at answering all of the ones I inquired on :)

Nice.
This reminds me of a time that I started talking to someone and after about an hour we realized we hadnt even introduced ourselves...
While I wont marry you, as I did with the one in the above statement... We will see eachother around.
