Hiya guys, I just joined. I'm a hobby photographer who travel around the globe a lot, although I've been stranded in northern Europe for almost six months now.

I only do digital. However, I'm familiar with the conventional dark room from some study classes fifteen years ago.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
