Hello all.

Just got my new D7100 & have started a new journey with Digital.
I just got my first C-41 kit & plan on developing my own film from now on.

I am also a Nikionan & a member of UHH as well just can't get enough
of Photography. The picture of the cherry blossoms was with my
D7100 & my Nikkor 35mm F1.2 AIS.

Thanks everyone, I have been cruising around the Forum & you all have one very cool place here.
It's going to be a real adventure going to a Digital camera & learning to Develop my own Color film
then scan it. Makes you wonder why it took so long to just Shoot digital in the first place LOL.

I'll be posting some pictures from my Film Nikons & then some of my Digital camera.
I need to figure the uploading process first.

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.

[FONT=&quot]Don't forget the weekly challenges and the monthly assignments.

You might want to create your own thread.

You can do that here - https://nikonites.com/project-365-and-daily-photos/

Hello and welcome! The D7100 is a very nice DSLR. My first DSLR was the D90 which has a smaller sensor. So the upgrade to the larger D7100 sensor was amazing. The downside was the D7100 showed me my old 35mm film lenses had their limitations - because there was so much more detail visible with the D7100 than the D90.

I never attempted developing color film although I took a B&W developing and printing class as an adult night class (community classes offered at the local high school). Took the class at least 3 times in the late 1990's. It was a lot of fun, too! :encouragement:

When you upload any images here, make sure the file size is small enough. The forum will downsize to 1024mp on the long side, but if the overall image size is too big, the upload won't happen.

Nice to have you here. :)

Welcome to nikonites. Western North Carolina is beautiful country; I've visited many times in the past.

I'm also a Nikonian, and find that I enjoy both places. This site seems to be a bit less formal than Nikonians, and both sites suit me just fine.
