Greetings all.I've been a photo enthusiast for a long time... back in College I used to shoot weddings and work for a small newspaper in exchange for Ad space;Took many years off.. and now recently, my lovely wife just gifted me a Nikon Coolpix P900; I love the long reach!!! but it has a few issues I don't like. I also do a lot of watch photography with Iphone.

Over the last few months I've also started to be more much appreciative of all our birds; and I've set up many feeders to our enjoyment (and theirs).

Here are some shots of today.

Hi @Wolfsatz
Welcome aboard and looking forward to seeing your shots. Once you get enough posts, (10 I think) you can start posting pics. I don't think flicker shots are allowed though. Click on the reply, find the icon for "Insert Image" and select the image you want to upload. Hit upload and your set- mostly. Nothing over 2mb can be loaded, so you might need to resize your shots to conform. Kinda a pain but once you do it a few times, its not so bad.

Well.. that's a killer for me. I don't usually upload my pics directly...I don't even download them to my computer.. . as I usually will cross post into other forums. Do you know the reason for that?

Also getting the 30 second error.. even on a reply that has gone over that time frame.

Flickr.. my preferred photo hosting site. Used by millions of Amateurs as well as Pros. Has some basic editing tools.

Used to belong to Yahoo.. then sold it last year. I moved to flickr after Photosucket tried to hijack my pictures for profit to which I told them to take a hike.... and broke millions of photo URLs by those like me.

Hey man, welcome! You and I have chatted at WuS, so it's good to see you here also. What a great gift from your wife, I'm looking forward to seeing how you use it!

Enter the weekly photo challenges, it's a good way to expand your "photographer's eye" by forcing you to take creative pictures of things you might not otherwise consider.

And...let's see some of those watches :encouragement:
