Welcome to the forum Libby. Hope you enjoy it here. That is a good camera. I always recommend a handbook with a new camera. I like David Busch's books because they are much better than the Owners Manual.

If you are new to photography this bunch of folks are very helpful as well. You can also search things like the exposure triangle and pick up things from old posts. Welcome.
