Hello everyone,

I'm Mark based on the Nottingham/Derbyshire border very clos to The Peak District!

I have just started getting into photography more, having recently bought a Nikon D3400 which I find very nice to use. Where we live is surrounded by some very nice scenery :)

Our hobbies are camping, we have two of the classic VW campervans, walking, real ales and I am part of a group which supports the preservation of an ex RAF aircraft, the Nimrod.

I have lots of photographs from our travels, some of which I'll share.

Thanks, Mark

Welcome Mark from a fellow Brit (Cotswolds), this is a great forum for Nikon shooters as well as allowing posts from non Nikon and Mirrorless.

A lot of very experienced people on here who are always willing to share their knowledge and help those who need answers - please also share some of those photos of the beautiful Peak District.

You'll know Swinbrook, we are part of a VW group and head off down to Swinbrook for a summer camping weekend, lovely down there!

I sure will post some images of The Peak District, with pleasure! Sounds like I'm in the right place for some good advice :)

Thanks everyone I appreciate the warm welcome!

The Nimrod group I mention is based in Coventry at the Baginton end of the airfield, she does open or visitors, XV232, Brunty has XV226 and Elvington nr York has XV250 (which is closest to you).

Oh yeah, forgot about Elvington, your Nimrods' not affiliated with the Midland Air Museum then? Not many office windows in Catcliffe, maybe on the Waverley business park bit:D
