Welcome to the forum Pete. I cannot help you with the posting issue, but I am sure you will hear from one of the admin guys soon. Hope you enjoy it here. It has been a good place to learn for me.

Howdy Pete and welcome to Nikonites!!!

Brent posted some good info...rather than using the gallery, you can add images directly to your post here.

What do you use to process your photos? I use ViewNX-i and I use their resize (convert files) to 1000 on the long edge.

Hi Marilynne. ive downloaded viewNX & converted an image to 1000 on the long edge (was 6000). the file size is still saying it 5.5meg though. can this be uploaded into the gallery or a post like this ?
