Hi,
Hobby level, grew up around photography, just went from D80 to D7500. Always trying to improve.
Switched from film to digital 10 years ago when I was doing underwater photography.
Thanks in advance for letting me benefit from your collective experiences.

Welcome to the forum

If you fill out your profile and add the camera gear we can better answer any questions that you might have.
You can do that at http://nikonites.com/profile.php?do=editprofile

Under camera just put the model number like D7500; Once you put the first letter like D you will see a list of all the cameras in the database pop up. The more numbers you put in the smaller the list becomes. When you see your camera just click on it, Be sure to click on "Save Changes" in the lower right corner.

Thanks

Welcome to nikonites.com. Watch for our outing to the Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland in February. (I assume that we're going again in February.)

Needa,
Thanks for the welcome!
About the 7500: I will have to get back to you on that. Its obviously a different world that the D80. I went back and forth between the 7500 and the D7200. I had one in my hands for about a week. All things considered, the 7200 would have been fine for me. I think I fell for the ability to rotate the monitor up and down. I shoot overhead every now and then and its a great feature. The camera is technically well beyond my abilities at the moment so I can grow into it.
We are heading to Washington State, Oregon and Idaho later this week so I can give it a real-world workout.
I will post more later in a more appropriate location.

Welcome to the site........enjoy yourself! Used to visit my grandparents every year in Cape Coral. My sister and I used to laugh at the "Keep Cape Coral Clean" signs when we were younger.
