Retired IT consultant after some 50 years in the industry.
Now happy to devote my time to photography.
D80 and D7100 along with 3 prime and 3 zoom lenses (all Nikkor).
Getting into post-processing using DxO and recently Affinity Photo, an amazing piece of software with a great set of video tutorials.
Starting a project to analyze and understand EXIF data from about 50,000 photos dating back to early 2000. Not sure what to look for yet, but am having fun analysing it all.

Thank you for reading, John

Welcome. Looking forward to retirements in a couple years for the same reason. I see you have a D80 and D7100. These are older but great cameras. Have you considered buying a used D300?

I gave my D40 away to my sister in law and bought a D5100. Then bought a D7200 but sold it and bought the D500. Gave my D5100 to my son. In two years I'll buy a D850. Going to keep my D500. The D500 best camera I've ever owned. Use the 200-500 Nikon lens with it. Love it. Took this shot of a hawk in my front yard the other day.
