Newbie from NYC with P900

Anyone know what I can use for an eye-cup and lens-hood on the P900 ?

I don't think it is designed to use either

Welcome to the forum, i had the P900 and i dont think it will take a eye cup but i used a lens hood simlar to the one in the link,you need to fold it back or remove it for wide angle shots or it gives cut off,just check but ime sure its 67mm.

Access Denied

You may have to do some in camera jpeg settings to get the best from it,here are my settings.

• Contrast - Normal
• Saturation - High
• Sharpness - Hard

If you try long telephoto shots hand held set the camera on continuous and let it take at least 3 shots until you get used to it,that length of lens takes some hand holding,it is a very capable camera these where taken by me on one.

I searched for a eye cup as well. None are made that I could find. I did find one solution. Haven't tried it yet though.

The P900 has a 67mm filter thread. I've never had a lenses flare issue with my P900. I do have one like this on a couple lenses. And they work well.
