Greetings!

I think I may have posted to say hello before... But thought I'd dip in again as I've finally done a complete refresh of my Flickr account so can now share my better photos publically (rather than a mix of 'personal' / holiday images).

These photos date back to 2007, pre-DSLR days, so include some point-and-shoot (and some phone) photos, then move to my D50 and now D5300. At the moment I only have one lens (18-200mm) but I'm on the verge of buying a 50mm F1.4G just for fun... I expect I'll enjoy the lighter weight but initially feel a bit frustrated by the lack of zoom. Want to play around more with still life stuff and bokeh, so hopefully that will help me get some good results.

Anyhow, I'd love some feedback on my photos... Some could probably do with some more editing, but in general I think they do show my improvement over the last 8 years - well, I hope so!

Greetings again from Sashina in London.

It was early 2016 I dived into this forum, shortly after work work became just manic and eventually I just disappeared. :(

In the meantime I've still been taking photos, but have completely fallen behind with maintaining my Flickr account, sticking to Instagram and the odd share on Facebook. But recently everything changed: I was made redundant, and am now taking a bit of a sabbatical, so no excuses this time around, eh?

I'm still using my D5300, but have added to my 18-200 lens with a 50mm f/1.8 and a Tokina 11-20mm.
