Hello,

This is the first time I've been able to get my real name as my username anywhere. It's usually taken by people who think they're (or are called) Jesus because they have long hair, or a religious person/institution. The irony of it all is that I'm an atheist.

I'm looking forward to being able to discuss my love of photography with like minded people.

Hello and welcome to Nikonites. :)

So do you pronounce your name as a Spanish given name? Like Hey Zeus' ?

Welcome aboard . . . Not that it matters, I'm just a curious type. Is your name pronounced in the Latin fashion of the letter "J" sounding like an "H?" Or, is it actually pronounced as it appears to the non-Latin eye. "Jesus" is a common name within the Latin community.

No, it's Jesus, in English. People often try to correct my when I introduce myself. I fantasize about responding, "Wow! Do I've been saying that song my whole life." But then I'd feel awful about making the other party feel bad.
