Newbie here and help required for a MF film camera to Digital convert

I joined here as I need good sound advice ...I 'll read around and see what I learn . Have used MF kit years , different makes , but picked up a nice rough F4 recently , and 6 months ago a D3200 ....am happier with film but NEED to learn digital ...and thats why I am here ! Am posting a request for help in the section for 3200 now ....see youa round and thanks in advance for the advice .

Welcome to the forum.

This might help and probably some youtube tutorials to get you pointed in the right direction.

Hi guys , thanks for the link . Still stuck in what I still consider the normal thing - film . But for animal and wildlife - okay a lot , a digital camera will help out . Trying to grasp the basics still - and realise that after many years , am not that good a snapper !

Basic fundamentals are still the same. ASA = ISO; Film = memory card; Set your ISO minimum sensitivity to ISO 100 max sensitivity to ISO 3200; Then play with it using M, A, S and P. Invest on a speed light instead of the pop up flash.

Reading the manual would help get you familiarized with the camera a bit quicker. For instant assistance you should go into the "Guide" option on your dial to help you with how the camera functions. Great tool to have with a beginner camera.
