Hi all

Just trying to find myself a photography forum where I can learn from other similar bods and maybe share a few things I've learn.

Its still early days in my digital photography life. I brought myself a D3100 a few years ago for a road trip and found it was fantastic compared with the point and shoots I'd been using before. For the last 18 months though, I've been learning there are other modes other than auto!

I've gone up to a D5200 which I have found much sharper than the D3100, but wish I'd waited and gone for a D7100! Just got myself a SB-910 which I'm just starting to learn how to use, and mostly shoot with my 50mm prime, 1.8g.

I'm shooting everything I can at the moment, hoping to find 'my area' in 2014, or maybe I'll just turn into a jack of all trades as currently I shoot landscapes (just trying HDR), animals (mostly at the zoo though), sports, and studio/model work.

Maybe chat with some of you and will have to get some of my shots up here (once i've found a couple!)

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing some of your photos.
The D5200 is a great camera (I assume as I have the D5100 and love it)

Hi there , just got the same camera . so maybe we can swop tips , I'm from Uk too.
Shoot Landscapes and stuff mostly when I visit my home town in cornwall .
