Good day all,I have been lurking for a while and have learned alot from many of you. I am a hobbyist wanting to become as good as I can.I started into this very addictive and expensive hobby seriously about 3 years ago.I love all photography but focus on mainly Wldlife, Sunsets & Landscapes and Sports (3 kids, each one plays sports and keep me very busy trying to document their success).I am very hungry to learn as much as I can and I have found that one of the best teachers in this hobby is experience.I have also learned that there are some things that just can't be learned without some tuteledge and guidance from experts and other hobbyists like myself.Hopefully I can add to the discussions and help others as I have been helped.Hopefully I can add some images that will be of good quality and others will enjoy. Thanks for letting me be a part of this experience!

Well you have come to the right place but did you say something about expensive? You have no idea how expensive this can be. But you get what pay for and when all is said and done you will find it money well spent. money spent on photography is sorta of like the old cowboy who when asked what he did with a all his money he replied; "well I spent most of it on wine, women, and song. The rest of it I just plain wasted"
With us it's camera gear.

Hello citizen of Utah - welcome to Nikonites. Please declare your entire Nikon holdings.

I went into my settings and updated my info. Why doesn't it show up in my posts? Also, I have the new AF-S 80-400mm and that is not an option for a lens from the list. And one last thing, how come when I try to put in a longer quote it tells me it is too long, yet it is shorter than many others I see on here? And I lied, one more question. Why when I space and try to use paragraphs and such it removes all of that and posts it all bunched up? just trying to learn do I can contribute as much as possible. Thanks

Thanks

I must be as slow as molasses as I have tried everything I can to get my stuff to show properly and still can't get it figured out. I can't even get a signature line to show how I want and when I post anything it doesn't seem to matter what punctuation or spacing I use, it just jumbles it all together. Help?

Yeah that. Myself and Moablady are in Roy, UT next to Hill AFB.

West Haven! It's good to know there are some fellow Photogs in the area. Always fun to get out and learn from others. I spend a little time out at Antelope Island and lots of time in the mountains each year trying to capture Wildlife. Maybe we can get together sometime and take some pics. Thanks

OSOK, I live in Clearfield, and work in Layton. It sounds like you are very close too Moab Man and Moab Lady.
