Hi. I'm new. I started with a Nikon S3000 I got "by accident". I was amazed at what it can do. I posted some original YouTube videos with music I recorded at home. NOW I have to upgrade to another SMALL Nikon with better quality. I need an inexpensive one that will allow the image to be blown up to poster size (60x30). Can someone recommend one? Most of my work can be seen online. :) Thanks! Debb

I wanted to add that I'm now using an S3500 and like it, but it's time for me to upgrade. I need advice on which camera to get next, then I'll upgrade again when the time comes. Thanks.

P.S. I've been making quite a bit of progress. When I made my first video for YouTube it was wonderfully easy... so I made two more rather quickly. The purpose of the videos was to showcase my music recordings I made at home.

Roy, are those model numbers? I just want to be sure they're small so I can keep it in my purse *and* isn't as expensive as the models you cited. Those are gorgeous shots!

Don, Nikon told me my current Nikon S3500 will blow up to poster size. Why pocket size? I find my best photos while on the go.

ALSO, I'm making slow progress which is fine.... I'm a musician first, a photographer second. It's a matter of having enough time.

Debb Sarr, I'm having some issues with the site today, as well. Missing photos in posts, which we were informed could happen with the server changeover, being one of them. In addition, today the normal photo upload process isn't working for me.

I'll just be patient and wait for jdeg to get things worked out. I'm sure jdeg will get the issues with the new server resolved soon, and then you can post more of your information.

Thanks for the info, Whiskeyman. I'll be patient. I want to upgrade to another NIKON, maybe just a step or two -- just enough so I can get poster size (which the S3500 is supposed to be able do (according to Nikon when I called them).

Also, maybe a little clearly photo?
And maybe a higher level of video so it will accommodate a bigger screen size.

Thanks!

Yes, but not much. Check out my video on YouTube if you want to see what a little point and shoot can do. The sound of the big sax was recorded by the camera, but I didn't plan it that way. I made the video by myself -- the music and videography. I enjoy challenges. :)
