A warm South African Hallo to All,

Grumpy Old Bag

I am a member of another two forums on Photography, one for learning Photographers and the other a forum based in SA. Been a active member of one of them for more than a year now I have really learned a lot from other members. Learning more about photography is the only goal for me, joining a forum like this.

Wanting to spread my wings a little wider I have been surfing the Web for another forum to join. Finding “Nikonites” where no “Canonian” will dare to post :beguiled:, was inviting to me and I entered. What do I find? An objective, straight forward, honest comment on an image called “The Blue Bridge”. No Ohoo Ahaa, just straight forward honest critique, I love it.

I can sometimes stir a little, some members might not always agree with what I say but that is the way I like to learn, don’t just swallow everything everybody else have to say . I am a real Grumpy Old Bag and if you want to kick me off this forum you should do so, NOW! :playful:

Thanks for the opportunity to be a member of this forum. I am sure I will learn lots from you Folks on here. To all those reading this, please don’t be nice to me, just be gentle in telling me my work is crappy. I am not here to have my frail ego boosted, I am here to learn how to take beter pictures.

I am looking forward to be a member and hope that I will be able to contribute something that will be of some help to others.

I will now try and post one of my images, in the appropriate thread, so you people can get a better idea of my inability as a hobbyist photographer.:sorrow:

Regards,
Andre.

Lol Well I'm friendly to everybody Grumpy, and I'm not experienced enough to make a good critic. So you may have to just bare with me liking your photos! Lol :D But I promise I won't require you to add me to your friends list though you'd be welcome! ;) And finally I want to welcome you to nikonites, and I hope you find the feedback your needing to help you step up your game! :D

Hi Don,
Thank You.
I did fill out my profile, perhaps this is a standard question or have I missed something? I am an idiot with this computer technology thing, was born before CD's and Cell Phones.
Why does Windows so often tell me that Nikonites.com is not responding? Perhaps the Windows guys are Canonians.

Thanks for the guidance.
