Hello to all, my name is Jamie and I have just been bought a Nikon coolpix L110. And so far I'm loving it, just going to get used to this camera and then on to a better one. I have a tripod for it and no more blurry pictures lol.

If you have any tips on the best way to use this camera please do say.

Once I get some decent pictures I'll post then up.

Have a good new year. All the best

Jamie.

Welcome Jamie, Tripods are your friend for Point and shoots. Speaking from years of experience with them, hah. That and a 2 second timer doesn't hurt either to reduce jitter from pressing the capture button.

See you round the boards. :)

The best advice I can offer is NOT to take images at arms length, it is the best way to get camera shake I know.

Hello Jamie and welcome to the Nikonites Community. The L110 is a good camera you'll enjoy it. It has the panorama assist feature I wish was available on the DSLR models. In any case please fill out your profile with some information about yourself, the camera you are using and any other equipment you may have. Having that information will help us in responding to your posts. Enjoy the site.

Cheers pal. I'm using tapatalk on the iPhone and it's not letting me update my profile. I'll be able to get to my pc later this week.

Thanks again Jamie
