Hello from Southern Maryland

Hello, all.

I've been an amateur for a number of years. I'm active in a couple other forums, but just found this site.

I live in Maryland, about 30-45 minutes south of DC, with my lovely wife and occasionally, our two sons (one is in college, one lives elsewhere.)

By the way, how does one live 30-45 minutes south of DC and still live in Maryland? Sounds like you would be well into Virginia.

I'm in Waldorf, northern Charles County. Depending on traffic, it's between 30 and 45 minutes to the DC line (US 301 to MD 5); about 30 from VA (down US 301).
