I have been doing photography for a long time, and have used Nikon most of that time. One of the things I do is compositing photography, 3D, animation and video together, using Photoshop extended, After effects, Premier and FCP among other applications. I also add music that I have written to some of them. I have a green screen in my a music studio. I play a number of instruments including Keyboards, piano and guitars.
I have done some photography and video for money, but it all went back into gear with some extra money with it, LOL.
I love doing nature photography, where I live makes this nice.

For photography I am mostly using a Nikon D200. I am looking into getting another Nikon, one that also does video. I will want to be able to send the video out uncompressed for green screen capture. At this time all my full frame lens are for my old Nikon F so it may be a bit much to go with a full frame set up, but I am thinking. I like the look of the nikon D7100 as I can use the lens I have now. Please give me your opinions on any of this. Thanks for your help ; in advance.

I'm new to the D7100 (having just upgraded from my D5100) but I'm loving it. LOVING. IT.

I knew it would be a step up from the D5100 but... Wow. I... It's just... Well...

Wow!

Thanks, I see you guys love your D7100's, have you done video with it yet?
I would love to get the D800 but it and a new lens or two may be over the amount I want to spend, I have some home construction going on right now. Leaning toward the D7100.
Does any one have the 18-300 Vr lens, it gets better review than the 18-200 Vr that I have.
