"Low to the Ground Perspective OR Food/Beverage(s)"

After a great deal of consideration, I decided to go with two very different topics from the link that @nikonpup posted.

1. Low to the Ground means you are taking the photo from a low vantage point. You can handhold the camera, use a tripod, or use some other means to obtain a photo taken at or close to ground level. Some bodies have flip screens - feel free to use that if you wish. Indoors. Outdoors. Whatever you'd like to shoot from a low vantage point. Examples might be bugs, flowers, weeds, a scenic view from ground level, pets, shoe(s), babies, etc.

2. Food/Beverage(s) means absolutely anything related to food and/or beverage(s). It can be an ingredient such as salt or butter. It can be food on a grill, food on the stove, food in a pan or on a plate, ice cream cones/water ice/popsicles (for those in warmer climates), baby or pet food, or food (and/or ingredients) displayed in any other way. It can be any type of drink(s) in a glass, bottle, container, etc. It can also be water droplets. Anything that represents food and/or beverage(s).

IMPORTANT TO READ THE FOLLOWING:

Let's get shooting! CREATIVITY/TECHNIQUE rules in this challenge, but there are a few guidelines:

1. Any photo submitted for a monthly assignment must be taken using a Nikon Camera!

2. All submissions must be taken during the month specified in the assignment thread and taken by YOU! (Please insure that EXIF is either posted with the photo or if it gets messed up, hold yourself to the honor system and add the minimum Exif data of the Camera used and the date the photo was taken to your post)

3. Other than that, it's all up to your interpretation of the theme. Any photo will be accepted, SOOC or edited, doesn't matter.

4. Photos must be posted in this thread to be considered. Links to photos will not be considered an entry (In other words, no Flikr, Photobucket, or similar links)

5. Only THREE entries per member for each assignment. Please post entries separately (1 photo per post) and number the entry.

6. Entries will be judged by the number of likes received.

7. The top 5 shots will be displayed in a separate thread, and will be displayed in no particular order.

8. This is intended to be a FUN challenge. No critiques unless specifically asked. Also, please limit posts to just photos and brief descriptions/titles. Any comments/discussion should occur elsewhere, PLEASE.

As listed in other challenges, please note: NO CASH OR PRIZES will be awarded for this Monthly Assignment.

HAVE FUN!

*To clarify time for start of the assignment, it is 0000 UTC/GMT the first day in June (similar to the weekly challenges) and ends at 23:59 UTC/GMT the last day in June.

Based on UTC, this monthly challenge is now underway. Let's see your take on either low to the ground or food/beverage(s). :)

drainage channel along the titters worth dam taken from off the foot bridge - skewed perspective as its only about 6" wide :)

Hobbit, please edit your post and add the date, time, and camera model used for the photo. Otherwise, it won't be eligible for the monthly challenge. Thanks.

By the way, do you know how to add a photo without it showing up as an attachment? When it is added to a post, the EXIF usually shows up automatically without having to list it.
