I have a D7500, if I got the Z5 and the FTZ adapter would I be able to use my existing lenses as I can’t afford new glass as well.

Short answer is yes! Depending on the lens some functions may not be available. If your lens are DX you may not want to though, using the Z5 in DX mode will make it a 10MP camera. What are you hoping to accomplish by going to the Z5?

It would help if you would list off your lenses.
AF-S& AF-P, yes.
AF-D& AI-S are manual focus only. Pre AI are not compatible.
3rd party lenses are hit and miss. Newer lenses mostly work, older lenses mostly don't.
DX lenses will only work in DX mode but some DX lenses work of FX at the long end. My Tokina 11-16 f2.8 works great at 16 on full frame and my Sigma 18-35 f1.8 at 35, (Both are fully functional with the FTZ). You loose the zoom but gain a prime if its a good lens. Also, since there is such a large crop for the video, DX lenses work great in video mode.

The FTZ adapter works well with Nikon lenses. The Z5 is a full frame Nikon so Nikon DX lenses will work, but it will be cropped. You can confirm functionality looking at the online manual.

Tamron has a page dedicated to identifying compatibility. I am not sure about the Sigma lenses, but I know many of the Art lenses work.

The only issue I have found with my F Mount lenses is the focus motors are noisy. on the upside if you have a lens without VR the IBS provides VR for those lenses.
