New Z bodies to include micro sd slot (rumor)

Still got the problem of adding text to a post i put a link in.

What i was going to add is IMO if Nikon cant add a second full size slot within the existing body size for me this would be a good idea,i only ever use the second slot for back up and if a micro card would not slow the camera down then it would fix a niggle i have.

I wouldn't really like this option. Just give us a regular SD card slot, for Pete's sake. Micro cards would, IMO, be a pain to deal with. Then again, what do I know? I'm just a grumpy old guy. :)

Don't think a miro sd will stand up to much handling. If it were left in the camera just a backup it should function ok. Could even set up the camera to backup files when the processor is at partial load. Only one of my cards gets remove to transfer files. Wonder if most use a cable and would rather have wireless transfer.

I dont see this happen, you have the best card in an XQD then put the worst card in with a Micro SD ... That doesnt make sense...

I would not like the micro cards. I always lose the adapter. Only time I use them is when the card never comes out like my tablet. I have to say I am over the need for two slots after the D700 and the Z6. It would be nice to have them for back up. But as long as it is a good card I am much less concerned.

It will be interesting to see what they do. The DX would be nice to get the added reach.

I really do see Nikon doing some amazing things with these cameras. The Z6 is much easier for me to use than my other bodies. Also the focus is more precise although it did take some time to get the hang of it. I feel more confident with it than I do with the 700 or 7200 and I love both of those bodies. The Z6 gives me a bit more confidence.
