This would be great, apsc with lenses built for it and a compact retro body. I could come home

Mike, you need to leave it a 10/second because it SOUNDS SO COOL.

If Nikon makes this new mirrorless to use it's current lens lineup, great. If not, I can't see myself being interested. At all...

The logical step would be to launch a new camera with a few lenses and access to the existing lens range, we are talking Nikon though,

The thing that is holding Sony's mirrorless SLRs back for many people is the small number of lenses offered. Nikon has always had the SLR advantage of having a huge catalog of lenses available. Just sayin'...

I'm sure they design an adapter for existing lenses like they did for the Nikon 1 line. My 70-200 f4 worked great on the V2 with the adapter. It would be a huge blunder otherwise, although they would probably begin a new line of native lenses to go with it.

Just the word adapter puts folk off with so many crap adapters on the market, most have not had experience of a good adapter like the FT-1.

    No kidding.

Honestly hope N does that somewhat Df and Fuji route with control dials for all key settings and maybe, just likely not maybe, a hybrid OVF. It's one thing aside from lack of color noise that keeps me with Fuji X-Pro line because the battery life out of OVF is superb unlike most other MLs since forever.
