I had long given up thoughts of owning the 1 NIKKOR 32mm f/1.2 due to the cost: US$899. I had a search on eBay and stumbled on a short auction at a low price out of Quebec and. . . it arrived an hour ago. Not one to delay NAS-related satisfaction, I immediately mounted it on my V2 and took a couple images while delivering an executive presentation via WebEx. Both the WebEx and shooting with the lens went off without a hitch!

This lens is roughly equivalent to a 85mm FX lens and has Nano-coating. Think of it as the Nikon 1 version of the legendary full-frame 85mm/1.4 "cream machine".

Since I'm writing this during 30 minutes between customer calls, I downloaded the images into Lightroom and processed them quickly. My initial reaction was "hello bokeh"!! I think I'm going to love having this lens in my kit. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the background on the wind chime example.

Here are the quick examples. One of my wife's houseplants:

Very nice steal - no matter what you paid. Really sharp.
I love cheese and this last shot is great - pity he isn't a tad to the left to be dead centre.

The lens very very sharp and the bokeh is superb if i use it on the v1 or v3 the hi speed give me to take photos wide open even in strong sun and that a good thing.
