Computer Tether

Does anyone know of a way to tether the Nikon 1 cameras to a computer (so you can command image capture from the computer)?

Not sure about the N1, but I use Lightroom 5 to tether my D600. I know Lightroom updates their software super fast to accommodate new camera's, so I'm guessing the N1 should be on there. Super-easy to use. Start, tether capture.

Cable. The Wu-1B just connects it to a phone/tablet. The Wu-1B is a cool concept, but I don't use it. I have a Nikon app on my phone, and my phone connects to the camera so I can download images right off my camera. It's slow.. glitchy.. but you can use it as a remote trigger. If your like 2 feet from it, lol. To tether, you need a USB cord. That works fast and wonderful. I use that with my laptop to see the pictures as I'm taking them, since my screen on my laptop is a lot bigger than my camera. And you can see how it's going to look on a screen.

The Wu-1b can be cool however (I forgot I used it on new years) when I had a bunch of people over, and took a group picture, and everyone wanted it. I took it right off the camera and texted it out to everyone.

Sanchazo,
I think your best bet is to look at this link Nikon 1 J1: Camera WiFi Cards and Compatibility | Eye-Fi Support set the folder as a watch folder in LR5 (assuming). This will work, not the best as tethering but the images do appear. I did this with my D7K before I bought the Tether Tools cable and jerk stopper. If you do it wifi its best that your wifi is fast (n or ac); as there is a delay of a few seconds compared to tethering.

Thanks for the link, this looks useful. Do you know if you can command the shutter from the computer though?

Thanks

Can anyone confirm that the J1 can tether (command image capture from computer) with LR or any other software? I'm trying to decide whether to buy it (I need something this small) but the remote commanding is quite important.

Thanks

The N1 does not appear to be supported by the Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 software, thus my concern.
